Trust me, having teachers as parents does not make life easy, but you’re making it through your first few weeks of classes, and things are just starting to feel normal.

As a young magician, a key moment in your life is getting your lifelong companion during an annual hatching ceremony. Your fellow students have gotten griffins, serpents, unicorns, and all the more, and when your time comes, a vibrant baby dragon greets you, which your instructor labels as a drake. Drakey wastes no time in blowing a puff of flames at you, stealing your wand, and swooping out of the classroom to lead you on a wild chase.
